Rigid frame

I made a plan to build a chopper about 4 years ago and
 still haven't built anything yet. LOL

But 4 years... lots of memories and lots of parts.

First, I started to look for the rigid frame but had been having a very difficult time to find a correct one in good condition until this year. 

The frames above are early rigid frame with T.F. prefix in really bad condition.

パーツ単体で入手するフレームはやっぱり程度悪いねー。
でも半世紀前のフレームだから歴史は詰まってるよね。

 Found the rear section with the rear sets mount.

 バックステップラグ付きのレアフレーム発見。

trial fitting. They didn't fit together well.

始めまして同士のフレームは相性も悪い。

 

1952 frame with split lug. This one was totally useless.

結局5セットもフレームを買ってしまったんだけど

この最後のポンコツフレームが運命の分かれ目だった。

人生諦めてはいけないのです。

I bought 5 frames for the last time.

 They are fixable but I can't afford to keep them all.

Finally, unexpectedly found a super cool frame on March 11th this year.

It's nightmare memory though...

 This front section for rigid frame is F*ck*n' special  made by Triumph factory in 1957.
Will post the detail about it soon or late.

長い事同じパーツを探し続けていると、なかなか良い事もあるもんです。
詳細はまたのちほど。
このフレームを見つけた時点でチョッパー計画終了。
そもそもチョッパーって柄でもないので。

My chopper plan ended at this point.
I can't chop this frame!
